I am convinced (both as a mom and Westport newborn photographer), that there is nothing more special than experiencing parenthood for the first time. Sure, those early days are filled with a range of emotions that come with being responsible for such a tiny, precious baby girl. But it’s also filled with a love you never knew existed, both for your baby and your partner. Not only are YOU experiencing being a parent for the first time, but they are too.
AND…witnessing all of that love as a CT newborn photographer leaves me feeling more and more grateful for this “job” of mine every day! Tiffany and Sam were no exception! Seeing them as first-time parents and the love they have for their baby girl, Frankie, was truly an honor.
Newborn to First Birthday with Frankie
Frankie first came to the studio at just a few weeks old for her newborn session. She was a little skeptical at first, but quickly snuggled up to Mom and Dad! Frankie was such a joy to photograph. That continued to be the theme throughout her first year, too!
Mom and Dad joined Frankie for each her sessions. All of which, we did our our studio in Westport. Laughter and smiles filled the studio at every session. Frankie stole all of hearts with her personality, and I think made us all a little jealous with her hair!
As Frankie’s first birthday session drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia, knowing that these precious moments would soon become cherished memories. Yet, I also felt a sense of gratitude for having been a part of her first year, and for having witnessed the love, the joy, and the sheer magic of parenthood unfolding before my eyes.
In the days, months, and years to come, as these three look back on these photographs, I hope they are reminded of the love that surrounds them, the joy that fills their hearts, and the beauty of Frankie’s first year!
