This mother-daughter maternity photoshoot is one that I am going to remember for a long time, and one that I am so excited to share with you!
Motherhood is a journey filled with moments of anticipation, joy, and profound love. Getting to experience it with your firstborn is truly special. Then, getting to experience it through their eyes as they prepare to become a big sister is extra special. As a photographer, I have the honor of not only witnessing these moments but being able to document them for families to remember. These seasons are fleeting but can (and should) be remembered!
More Than a Bump
Maternity sessions are sometimes overlooked for various reasons, but this mother-daughter maternity photoshoot was another reminder of just how important they are. They really are so much more than documenting your pregnancy or “bump.” It’s about relationships, and for many…the journey.
To kick off this mother-daughter maternity session, Jordan had a chance to relax and get pampered with hair and makeup. Jessie is our amazing hair and makeup artist! She does a beautiful job making moms look and feel their best for their maternity photos.
After hair and makeup, it was time to pick out wardrobe. This may have been Emma Grace’s favorite part! We have over 200 hundred dresses for Mom to choose from and just about as many options for little ones. Having a client wardrobe readily available for you in the studio eliminates the stress of figuring out what to wear for your maternity session.
Then, it was time for the best part- their mother-daughter maternity photoshoot! I think it’s safe to say they were both naturals. Largely in part because they just did what they normally do. Snuggled, gave kisses, danced, and lots and lots of laughter! And really, that’s our goal. We want your maternity session (or any other session for that matter) to be an opportunity to create memories with your family that will take you back to those moments (and how you felt) for years to come.
