One thing I didn’t expect when I moved into my new studio in Westport was just how much more I was going to love what I do. Having the space to serve my clients well while being able to create beautiful photos is a dream come true. It’s taken a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and support from my family and my clients. I’m truly so so thankful.
Part of serving my clients well has come from creating a wonderful experience for new parents, especially Moms. For the last 9+ months, you have been carrying, nurturing, and growing your baby. It’s such a beautiful sacrifice and the truth is, it doesn’t end when your baby arrives. Those early weeks are hard as your body recovers, but it’s also the time that goes by way too fast. The last thing I want you to do is stress over your newborn session.
Newborn Photography Studio in Westport, CT
When you arrive at our beautiful 1,400 sq ft studio in Westport for your newborn session, I want you to be able to relax, be pampered, and soak up every moment with your precious new baby and family. You will be greeted by myself and one of our professional hair and makeup artists, offered drinks and snacks, and then asked to sit back and relax while we take over.
Your artist will prep your skin and get you camera-ready while I take your baby’s first portraits! That’s right- you don’t have to wake up early to feed the baby, style your hair, feed the other kids breakfast, get your makeup on, and rush out the door- we take care of it for you! Once your hair and makeup are finished, we will head to the wardrobe room (filled to the brim with options) and help you select the perfect dress for your session. No need to spend hours shopping for outfits online only to have to return them all- we have curated over 200 dresses for you to choose from.
If we have big siblings, we have Dad bring the siblings about an hour after Mom so they aren’t bored by the time we start photos. We will style your kiddos to coordinate with your dress and head right into the studio for portraits!
Your Baby’s First Portraits
Your baby’s newborn photos are so important- these are your first family portraits with them a part of your family. To this day it’s one of my greatest regrets as a new mom. I didn’t know what I’d be missing out on and because of that, I’ve made it my mission to make sure as many families here in Fairfield County have the opportunity.
This family, they get it and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to photograph their sweet boy’s newborn session. I’m not sure who was more proud, Mom and Dad or his two big sisters! The love I felt in my studio this day was so sweet and a privilege to photograph.
These truly are the best days and something tells me that Mom and Dad know it too…just look at their smiles!
