I was so excited when I got the inquiry from this sweet family for an in-home newborn session in Rye, NY. Rye is the cutest little coastal town outside of NYC with the most beautiful homes. Baby Isla makes their fourth girl and oh my goodness, she and her sisters are so sweet!
Due to Covid, Jaclyn wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to get newborn photos taken for their newest little girl. I was so glad she reached out and I was able to assure her we could do an in-home newborn session safely. I have worked very hard, including talking with doctors, about the best practices to protect you and your families. You can read more about that HERE.
Angelina with BeautyMarked Studio joined me to pamper Jaclyn in their home in Rye. While she was getting pampered, I started Isla’s newborn session. I’ll typically do this to help save time but it’s also the perfect time to get photos of Daddy + baby and then the proud big sisters with baby. It also gives Mama a few minutes to herself to relax!
Wardrobe
One of the biggest hurdles to getting newborn or family photos taken is the stress over what everyone will wear. That’s why I have made it my mission to include wardrobe for all KWP families. This can be particularly helpful when you have multiple children.
Mama + the 3 big sisters are all wearing dresses from the KWP client closet. I, of course, love the clean, modern all-white look that we went with in this modern style home. This can work (and look really good!) when we mix different patterns and styles. I just adore the dresses Mama chose for her girls!
I cannot get over how sweet these girls were, and I am so excited to see how their bonds grow over time. Enjoy a peek into Isla’s in-home newborn session!
