I cannot believe it’s already been a year with Caleb. It feels like I just did their Weed Beach maternity session and studio newborn session. Now we are back in Westport at Sherwood Island doing Caleb’s first birthday session. Just wait until you see how cute he is in his hat!
I don’t think I ever understood how quickly the time went until I had children. It’s true what they say: “The days are long, but the years are short.” I’m just so thankful that this sweet family and so many others have trusted me as their family photographer, and I can freeze some of these memories through their portraits.
Before heading over to Sherwood Island, Michelle had another chance to get pampered by our hair and makeup artists with BeautyMarked Studio. She chose a beautiful, blue floral dress from the client wardrobe. Since getting it this past summer, it’s been a popular choice! I love how it coordinates with the dresses she chose for her maternity and newborn session.
Family Sessions at Sherwood Island
Sherwood Island in Westport, CT is one of my favorite places to do family sessions. We can get a lot of variety there depending on your scenery preferences. To start, we met up at the field for a few photos – the greens there in the summer photograph beautifully! After that, we headed down to the water for Caleb to explore. he wasn’t so sure about the water, but loved the rocks and hanging out with Mom and Dad! Then we wrapped up with the best cake smash. Caleb loved it and we couldn’t get enough watching him!
