I have been counting down the days to this newborn session since we photographed Kristen and Dustin’s pregnancy announcement at Weed Beach. Their excitement as they were preparing to share the news of their first baby was so sweet to witness and photograph. I am just so honored that out of all of the Connecticut Baby Photographers, they chose me! Sometimes I still have to pinch myself that THIS is my job!
Seriously, wait until you see how sweet little David is. I am not sure who is more smitten with him – Mom and Dad or his big brother, Todd? I can only imagine how exciting it is going to be for David to grow up having the best dog pal!
With COVID number still on the rise this summer in Connecticut, we went ahead and decided on an outdoor newborn session at Waveny Park in New Canaan. One thing I am finding (and loving) about all of my outdoor newborn sessions, is I have a lot more awake babies. And I kinda love it! While they are still so little, they know who Mom and Dad are and it’s sweet to see that connection. Plus, alert newborns tend to give you the best expressions!
I cannot wait to see little David grow over this next year. Until then, enjoy all the adorable moments from his newborn session!
