This sweet Darien family came to the studio to document welcoming their newborn baby boy to the family! I affectionately refer to this as the “lashes” session because both of these boys had THE best lashes!!! I had major eyelash envy.
Mom picked out one of my new dresses in the Studio Wardrobe and I LOVE this subtle blue print. We chose thls light blue shirt for big brother to tie in with the blue on Moms dress, and it looks so adorable together!
The new baby was so adorable and so expressive. I loved seeing his bright blue eyes in some of the portraits too! I just had to throw in a little blue for his portraits since it went so nicely with the family’s attire.
I’m always thinking of how your portraits will look together in an album to tell the story of welcoming your new baby. I try to keep colors consistent so they look beautiful together. I also suggest using colors that you would like to see hanging in your home, which is why I love classic neutrals (they look good no matter how your interior design style changes over time).
