This newborn session for these two new parents and their first baby boy was absolutely a dream. That first baby. There is nothing like it. Becoming a Mom and Dad is truly one of the most incredible experiences of your life.
I can still vividly remember how overcome I was with love for my tiny baby and my husband. Truly that first year of parenthood was the happiest year of my life. Yes, it was hard and there were moments I wasn’t sure if I was getting it right. But when he’d grab my hand or look up at me, I knew I was right where I was supposed to be.
I loved every single minute of being a new Mama. And I think that’s a huge reason I love being a newborn photographer in Fairfield County, CT, and working with new families throughout their baby’s first year. It brings me right back to those sweet early days with my son. Being able to make sure you have those moments not only etched in your memory but to look at for the rest of your lives is something I know I’ve been called to do.
I’ve talked about this before, but not having professional photos (or even more in general with me IN them) with my babies is one of my biggest regrets as a new parent. I want parents to know that it’s possible, and I want you to be able to come into our studio in Westport and not stress. In fact, I want your ONLY focus to be on your baby and creating beautiful memories like these full of so much joy.
It’s truly magical and I am so honored I had the chance to photograph Parker’s newborn session in the studio. We’ll be documenting his first year, and I can hardly wait to see these three again! Enjoy!
