18-Month Milestone Session | Connecticut Children’s Photographer

I was so excited when this sweet girl’s Mama reached out wanting an 18-month milestone session. Often times once a baby turns one, we overlook documenting their milestones. Sure, a lot of families will do annual family portraits, but the focus is different.

The truth is, our babies change just as much in that second year as they do the first. If they weren’t walking at their one-year session, they usually are by 18 months…and with a lot more speed! By this time they are usually babbling, a little more playful, and have quite the personality.

Simplicity sessions are the perfect way to document this time. We focus on beautiful, classic portraits of your little one. We focus just on documenting your kids as they are- funny, serious, silly, wild, active, sweet….all the amazing qualities of your children. And truly- we can do this at any age!

Parent’s trust me when I say, you’ll never regret documenting alllll of the milestones. At least once a year- make it a priority. I don’t say that as a photographer, I say that as a Mom of two. When they are 8, you’ll be thankful for what they did when they were 2, 3, 5, and so on. Not to mention, they will be grateful you did it as they get older.

I cannot wait to see sweet Amelia and her parents for their family session this summer!
