Babies don’t keep. We know that and yet, so often parents focus on newborn and one-year photos. Meanwhile, in between, your little one is doing some pretty amazing things. Documenting that “sitter” milestone in the 6-8 month range is so easily overlooked, but in my opinion, one of the best milestones to document!
Lucky for me, I have had the opportunity to photograph this sweet guy while he was growing in his Mama’s belly and his newborn session. Now, 8 months later, we’re photographing Nash’s milestone session in the studio and Sherwood Island Park.
At my studio in Westport, it was all about Nash. He wore the sweetest little outfit and gave me all the smiles. He was seriously SO happy and didn’t mind the camera one bit. He played on his tummy, sat up on his own, and showed me how much he loves his toes. All the things they are doing and discovering at this age that I love so much!
After some solo portraits of Nash, we headed to Sherwood Island for family photos. We played airplane, sat on Dad’s shoulders, and shared a lot of smiles and laughter. A lot of memories were made and I cannot wait to add these to his first-year album!
I absolutely adore these three and cannot believe that it’s going to be time to celebrate his first birthday soon!
