Ah, this beach maternity session in Fairfield County was truly magical. This sweet couple resides in Fairfield, Connecticut and is excited to be welcoming their first child soon! They are First Year Collective members so I am thrilled to get to work with them to document the incredibly special year ahead with their baby!
Michelle and I had an in person meeting to discuss what all they were looking for in a newborn photographer and about their previous experiences with photographers. We also discussed what they had in mind for their maternity session. After we set the date for the session, I contacted my makeup artist, Angelina with Beautymarked Studio, and booked her for the session. Angelina went to my client’s home that afternoon and gave her a natural, glowy look for the session. Michelle also went to Le Boudior for an awesome blow out. I was so excited to her text that afternoon saying how much she was loving this day of pampering, which is always my goal! I always want the client’s to feel special and have a memorable experience! Once she had her hair and makeup done, they drove to the studio and she tried on lots of dresses from the Client Closet until she found the perfect dress! She wanted something simple and something with sleeves. Her selection was spot on and looked amazing on her!
After we settled on her husband’s outfit, we headed out to Weed Beach in Darien. Weed Beach is one of my favorite places for sessions! The weather seriously could not have been more perfect it was sunny and low 70s with just a slight breeze- the best!
