After working with Jamie and her family for their maternity portraits, I was SO excited about this newborn session! This family has such a special connection and their love for each other is so evident in the way they look at each other. Jamie is also hilarious and we have so much in common, so we had so much fun chatting and laughing! Their new baby girl, Josie, is a DOLL. She has so much hair, bright blue eyes and is such a sweet baby! She didn’t make a peep her whole session!
We had my amazing makeup artist come in first thing to give Jamie a little pampering while I took care of photographing sweet baby Josie! Angelina, the makeup artist, is truly extraordinary and does a perfect job of making new Moms look and feel their best (despite being super tired adjusting to no sleep!). She does a natural, glowing look for all my sessions so Moms don’t look over done, just refreshed and naturally beautiful!
Jamie selected her dress from the Client Closet, which is full of beautiful pieces curated to photograph beautifully and flatter postpartum Moms. I have selections for siblings and even Dads too! This takes off all the stress of having to choose outfits while adjusting to life with a new baby!
