Kristin and her family are the cutest humans. Kristin is just so photogenic and cannot take a bad photo. Her husband and her little boy Camden are equally as adorable. We had so much frolicking in the field to take some Maternity and Family portraits. Camden, like most 2 year olds, was a bit of a wild card! He had a blast running and running at Waveny Park in New Canaan and when he decided to be in the pictures we were ready for him! With a 2 year old myself, I’ve learned lots of tricks to get them in the frame and capture those real moments and connections. Often times parents with young toddlers will walk away from a session thinking there is no way we got any pictures, but we always do!
I love shooting in a field. The tall grasses make for such a beautiful, soft background without distracting from the emotions of the moment. I also love how the field changes from month to month. Sometimes it is all a beautiful golden color, other times it is tall, green and filled with wildflowers. No matter what season it is, it is always lovely.
Mom’s wardrobe was borrowed from my client closet, which is available to all my clients.
