Motherhood is such an important part of my life. It has changed me and completed me in so many ways. It has propelled me into a career that is so fulfilling. I am, who I am, because I’m a Mother.
And because of what an essential role Motherhood has been in my own life, capturing Motherhood is so important to me. There is nothing more special or more beautiful than the relationship between a child and their Mother, especially when those children are young. They will never love and need us as much as they do right now in these early years.
This year, to honor Mother’s, I hosted The Motherhood Event at my studio! It was a special celebration just for Mom’s and their little ones. We started off the morning with a little pampering for each of the moms by my makeup artist Angelina with Beautymarked Studio. She gave them a little makeover and some time to relax. Then the Moms headed to the Client Wardrobe and I helped them select outfits for them and their kids. Once they were dressed, we did a short photography session to capture some sweet moments with their kids. And finally there were lots of refreshments to enjoy, including some gorgeous custom designed sugar cookies by the Housewife of Darien. Each Mom received a swag bag filled with a few of my favorite beauty items and a handmade piece of jewlery by M.belle.ish. And to top it all off, my friend Courtney with Arranged Floral Design Studio prepared a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for each Mom to take home! It was such a fun experience and I know all the Moms left feeling so loved and appreciated! I can’t wait to bring this back next year!
